WholeHouse™ Display at Discount Builders Supply
The Design House retail team has successfully partnered with independent dealers and retailers such as Discount Builders Supply in Guntersville, Alabama to implement branded point-of-purchase displays to increase total sales per customer visit. Discount Builders Supply partnered with Design House® and implemented a number of WholeHouse aisle displays. The WholeHouse display from Design House enables retaielrs to offer customers a coordinated style with matching finishes across multiple product categories, including lighting, ceiling fans, kitchen and bath faucets, bath accessories and hardware. This product presentation makes for an easy buying decision. Interline Brands Vanity Program by Design House®
Interline Brands requested help from Design House to re-source a line of bathroom vanities in 2011. In quick turnaround, Design House had domestic inventory of like items to reduce Interline Brands' backorders and created a direct import program to handle future demand. Design House created custom product literature, sales incentive programs and executed sales person training in support of the vanity program. In 2011, Design House received the "Outstanding New Partner Award" from Interline Brands in recognition of outstanding work.
HD Supply Custom Vanities
Design House has been creating and sourcing custom bathroom vanities for years to support customers serving remodeling activity in the hotel and hospitality industry. In November 2013, HD Supply was looking for custom designed vanities to support their hotel remodeling business. Design House provided multiple custom designed vanities and pricing within a 5-day turnaround, and provided direct-shipped containers to the hotels which enabled on-site dry storage and prevention of product theft for HD Supply's customer. Through Design House's sourcing capability, they were able to provide a solidly priced, quality value product to the customer within a 75-day total cycle vs a 120-day average industry time. The 2 sku program exceeded their sales revenue expectations.
Design House has been drop shipping direct to consumers through large eCommerce retailers such as HomeDepot.com since 2011. Recent competition in the marketplace prompted e-tailers to drastically cut the time suppliers have to process and ship orders. Design House has been successful at meeting these short lead time requirements even when there's been a 50% increase in the number of orders shipped from our warehouse. The tremendous growth and success we've experienced with Home Depot also stems from our ability to serve their Professional customers through a Special Order program by supplying custom project quotes for high-volume orders. Project quotes are provided within one business day of receipt, and our WholeHouse program, which offers coordinated designs and matching finishes has been a major contributor to the increase in the number of products included in these projects.
